On the perils of running long distance...

I started running back in 2003, when I'd just entered the working world and needed a cheap way of keeping in shape. Over the years a strange relationship developed and to date I have nearly fifty runs of marathon distance or above under my belt. Or more correctly, on my legs.

824 is a running autobiography that is part aide memoir (for when the years take their toll) and, I hope, a source of inspiration to those interested in completing a race of any distance. Or you can simply laugh at me shitting myself in the desert.
